Coming July 29 - Aug. 2, 2019 (Orientation July 28)
"We had the most amazing O'Connor Method teacher training certification for Books I and II at Gardner-Webb University! It was two days of five and a half hours each taught by Mark O’Connor and I am more convinced than ever that O’Connor is a complete genius!! His violin and guitar playing is second to none, his knowledge of American music is incredible, and his Method for strings is absolutely genius!! He plays classical style, jazz, blues, spirituals, ragtime, folk music, hoe-downs, every style of American music authentically, musically and his technique is flawless, and his musicality is flawless!! And, Mark is a fantastic composer; he is the Aaron Copland of our time! His wife, Maggie O’Connor is also beyond amazing!! She is an incredible player, and they play flawlessly together, and Maggie is also a great teacher-she got us chopping! I highly recommend that everyone attend the O’Connor Camp this summer!!! Thank you to the O’Connor’s!!"
